To establish gold-standard scientific practices in field research, WSAFI founded The School for Aquatic Wildlife Biology and Conservation—a first-of-its-kind, week-long immersive field course. Executed in high-priority conservation landscapes including the National Chambal Sanctuary, Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, Sohagi Barwa Sanctuary & Pilibhit Tiger Reserve this intensive program equips researchers, students, and forest staff with practical competencies in aquatic fauna identification, standardized population survey techniques, telemetry, spatial data collection, and ethical animal husbandry adhering to international welfare standards.
